Spamatak doesn’t seem to be filtering my mail. Did I make a mistake in the installation / training process?
There should be a Spamatak menu on the Outlook menu bar. If that’s not there then Spamatak isn’t installed. Otherwise try running another training session.

Spamatak misclassified an email as non-spam. How do I correct this?
You can move the email from the spam folder to a non spam folder using any of the normal Microsoft Outlook® methods or you can use the Spamatak ‘Spam’ and ‘Not Spam’ menus. The ‘Not Spam’ menu will move the email from the spam folder to the Inbox.

I think I spoilt Spamatak by messing around with the threshold settings. Is there any way I can fix this?
Just set the threshold back to 0.15, move any spam to the spam folder and move any non spam in the spam folder to the Inbox.

I’ve installed Spamatak, but I don’t see the Spamatak toolbar in Outlook. Where is it?
It is under Tools menu.

Spamatak blocked a non-spam message (false positive) – how do I fix it?
Move the message from the spam folder to a non spam folder such as the Inbox. Spamatak will update its statistical filter to reduce the chance of this happening again.

My spam folder is getting too large. How do I reduce its size?
During training Spamatak can delete attachments from Spam emails. This is any easy way to save space and removes potentially malicious attachments.

You can also delete some of the spam emails but try and keep 500 or so spam emails for future training sessions.

The odd spam email still gets into my Inbox. How do I prevent this from happening?

You can increase the threshold but don’t set it too high or you some new non-spam emails may end up in the spam folder.
