What if I have more than one user on this PC?
It does not matter. Spamatak will store separate data for each user profile.

I subscribed to a newsletter / mailing list. How do I make sure Spamatak won’t identify it as spam?
There are two methods that will work:
1. If you have the Whitelist option on you can add the sender to your Address Book or,
2. Keep some of the emails sent from this list in a folder so that it will be viewed as non-spam during training.

Will Spamatak work with multiple accounts?
Yes.

I adjusted the threshold settings and now I’m getting spam! How do I fix this?
Set the threshold higher by raising the red Threshold line in the Performance graph.

How will I know when to adjust the threshold settings?
The general idea is to set the threshold so that you occasionally get a spam email in your Inbox but almost never get a non-spam in the designated spam folder. So if some non-spam appears in the spam folder you should lower the threshold.

Conversely if you are getting quite a few spam email in your Inbox but no non-spam in the spam folder you can increase the threshold but do it gradually. Try starting with a value of 0.15.

Try turning the Whitelist option off.
